• Deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated Geography curriculum.
• Support pupil development as a teacher and tutor.
• Inspire pupils with consistently high-quality lessons.
• Maintain accurate records and student progress.
• Contribute to the wider school and subject enrichment activities.
• Promote discipline, punctuality, and high standards.
• Stay up to date with subject and teaching developments.
• Assess, track, and report pupil achievement.
• Actively engage in school CPD and tutor responsibilities.
• Comply with safeguarding policies and school expectations.

Person Specification

Essential

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Degree in Geography or a relevant humanities subject.
• Successful experience teaching Geography at GCSE.
• Strong data use for planning and assessment.
• Classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil development.
• Ability to collaborate, lead, and communicate effectively.
• Resilience, initiative, and adaptability.
• ICT proficiency in teaching and learning.

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level Geography.
• Experience as a form tutor.
• Engagement in extra-curricular subject activities.
